ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001

In early 2019 we proudly became ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 accredited.

ISO 9001 is defined as the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It provides a framework that an organisation can follow, rather than establishing environmental performance requirements.

The new ISO 45001 standard implements the high level structure, compatible with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015. Therefore, applying and integrating this management system will add values to the organisation and raise the health and safety bar.

CPA (Construction Plant-Hire Association)

CPA is the UK’s principal point of contact for all issues relating to use of construction plant.

CPA works with government departments and agencies, local authorities, construction clients, private companies, other trade associations, and third-sector organisations.

Through its extensive contacts, and with access to a range of industry experts and experience, CPA can help with resolution of issues including

• Employee health and safety
• Machinery standards and emissions control
• Public safety and road transport
• Skills and employment.

FORS

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme encompassing all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations. FORS helps fleet operators to measure and monitor performance and alter their operations in order to demonstrate best practice.

At Ace Plant we operate to FORS Silver standard.

CEA

The Construction Equipment Association (CEA) is the trade association that represents the UK construction equipment sector – and is recognised by HM Government as the voice of our industry.

We are represented in Brussels – as active members of the Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE) – and our influence is felt worldwide through our technical, regulatory and international trade work.
