Vale TS1200

The Vale TS1200 salt spreader is a high speed, trailed salt spreader designed for use with 4x4 vehicles and other suitably sized towing vehicles. Fitted with a 1.2m³ hopper to take approximately 1500kg of salt, this Vale salt spreader will help keep larger sites running smoothly during cold spells.

Capable of spreading wet or dry and brown or white salt, the Vale TS1200 salt spreader has a unique POZI-FEED stainless steel auger system for enhanced longevity. This salt spreader is also fitted with high quality, twin braked axles and road going wheels and tyres for easy manoeuvrability. The hydraulic circuit is driven by an on-board electric start engine.

Wired to enable the spreading action to be controlled by the towing vehicle’s fog light switch, the Vale TS1200 salt spreader does not require any control boxes to be wired to the vehicle.

The unit has achieved EC Whole Vehicle Tyre Approval (ECWHTA) and is generally considered to be the market-leading, high speed towed salt spreader (gritter).
