Mounted on the rear of an ADT (Articulated Dump Truck), we have designed and built a fully bunded fuel and lube unit that offers an innovative and efficient solution for remote and rugged work environments. This conversion project was carried out for one of our valued customers, where we were tasked with creating a mobile service centre capable of providing fuel and lubricants to large equipment operating in challenging conditions, such as the base of a quarry pit.
The bunded fuel and lube unit is designed to house up to 10,000 litres of diesel, ensuring that large machinery can be refuelled without needing to return to a central fuelling station. In addition to diesel storage, the unit is equipped with pumps for grease and hydraulic oils, providing a comprehensive solution for equipment maintenance in the field.
The primary goal of this project was to create a mobile service centre that could handle the demanding requirements of remote work sites and rough terrain. This versatile unit allows operators to keep their equipment running smoothly in areas where access to traditional fuel and lube stations might be limited or impractical.
